North Devon Attractions
There is so much to do for families and small children around Ilfracombe and across North Devon. Here is just a small selection to choose from.
Kids can enjoy swimming and building sandcastles at Tunnels Beaches which is just a 2 minute walk from the Merlin Court Hotel. We also have our very own Ilfracombe Aquarium which is located in Ilfracombe’s beautiful harbour and just a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
If you’d like to take a short drive towards Combe Martin you can find the Dinosaur and Wildlife Park and Water Mouth Castle, which are all great family fun parks which will keep the kids entertained for hours!
Fifteen minutes from Ilfracombe are the Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands beaches, where your kids can spend hours having so much fun. All beaches have their own surf schools so both you and your kids can learn to surf together.
Venturing further across North Devon will take you to fun and activity parks such as the Big Sheep and the Milky Way.
